Formed in the 1830s when a wooden dam was constructed on the creek flowing through the area, the lake holds Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and abundant Panfish across a bottom of 60% muck and 40% sand, with three public boat landings maintained by the WI DNR. Lake Beulah has long been celebrated as one of southern Wisconsin's premier inland sailing lakes, with the community's sailing culture dating back generations among the approximately 600 homes that line its shores.

Located about 35 miles southwest of Milwaukee and less than two hours north of Chicago near the Village of East Troy, Lake Beulah sits in the rolling glacial landscape of southeastern Wisconsin's Walworth County, one of the most lake-dense counties in the state. The East Troy Electric Railroad Museum, alpine skiing at Alpine Valley, and the charming communities of Delavan, Elkhorn, and Whitewater are all within easy reach, making this corner of Walworth County a popular four-season destination for residents and visitors from both Wisconsin and northern Illinois.

A laser-cut wooden map of Lake Beulah makes a beautiful and personal piece of wall art for any Walworth County lake home, East Troy-area cabin, or southeastern Wisconsin retreat. Standard maps have 1 land layer and 7 water layers. The HD lake maps have 1 land layer and 14 water layers. So twice the detail. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only.
