Aziscohos Lake is a 6,700-acre reservoir on the Magalloway River in Oxford County, Maine, created by damming the river near the New Hampshire border and reaching a maximum depth of 60 feet. Known locally as Lac Aziscohos, the lake sits south of Bosebuck Mountain in one of the most remote and undeveloped corners of western Maine, with a largely wild, natural shoreline that remains largely free of development. Its cold, clean water supports a prized principal fishery of Landlocked Atlantic Salmon and Brook Trout alongside Rainbow Smelt, and the lake is closed to ice fishing to protect its coldwater fishery year-round.

Are these actually 3D or just engraved?
These are true 3D layered maps.
- Made from 1/8 inch Baltic birch
- Standard maps have 8 layers. 1 land layer and 7 water layers
- HD maps have 15 layers. 1 land layer and 14 water layers
Each water layer uses a light to dark blue gradient so depth changes are easy to see.

Everything is made in my shop in Minnesota.

Do you use real depth data?
Yes, as an angler and map nerd, accuracy matters to me. I use multiple data sources, up to six, to find the most accurate lake contours available.
I would not hang an inaccurate map in my house and I will not send one to yours.
