This map has 8 layers

Beaver Dam Lake is an impressive 6,718-acre impounded reservoir located in northwestern Dodge County, Wisconsin, ranking as the 16th largest lake in the state and serving as the centerpiece of the City of Beaver Dam and surrounding Towns of Beaver Dam, Trenton, Westford, Fox Lake, and Calumus. Fed by the Beaver Dam River, this expansive shallow lake features 41 miles of scenic shoreline with a maximum depth of 7 feet and an average depth ranging from 3 to 7 feet, creating ideal conditions for recreational boating, water skiing, paddling, and year-round fishing opportunities. The lake's fertile waters support healthy populations of walleye, northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, bluegill, yellow perch, channel catfish, and yellow bullhead, with annual walleye and panfish stockings enhancing the fishery for anglers who fish from shore, boats, or through the ice during winter months. Seven public boat landings provide convenient access around the lake, complemented by three dedicated kayak launch docks and a full-service marina on the south end, ensuring water enthusiasts can easily explore the vast expanse whether arriving with pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards. Six well-maintained city parks line the shoreline including Cotton Mill, Bayshore, Tahoe, Waterworks, Derge County Park and Campground, and others, offering fishing piers, picnic shelters, playgrounds, swimming areas, basketball and volleyball courts, public restrooms, and prime spots to watch spectacular sunsets over the water while the award-winning nationally recognized Beaverland Must-Skis water ski team performs thrilling, jam-packed shows at Tahoe Park throughout the summer season beginning Memorial Day.

Downtown Beaver Dam features a flourishing arts and music scene anchored by the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre, which presents over 24 productions annually including musicals, comedies, tribute acts like the 1964 Beatles Tribute Band, and concerts in their state-of-the-art entertainment space, while the Dodge County Center for the Arts showcases year-round gallery exhibitions featuring works from talented artist-members.
