Lake Ann is a 119-acre deep, clear lake in Chanhassen, Carver County, Minnesota, reaching a maximum depth of 40 feet across 2 miles of shoreline and consistently meeting clean water standards set by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for over 40 years. The lake holds Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, and Yellow Perch, and serves as a headwater lake for Riley Creek, which flows downstream through Lake Lucy and onward to the Minnesota River. Among the lake's most notable neighbors was Prince, who owned significant acreage along the western shoreline until his passing in 2016.
Located in Chanhassen near the communities of Excelsior and Shorewood, Lake Ann sits in one of the most sought-after lake corridors in the Twin Cities southwest metro. The difference between standard and HD maps is the number of layers. Standard maps have 1 land layer and 7 water layers. The HD lake maps have 1 land layer and 14 water layers. So twice the detail. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only. On the smaller sizes the depth change of the wood is too extreme and you end up losing detail.

These are true 3D layered maps.

Do you use real depth data?
Yes, as an angler and map nerd, accuracy matters to me. I use multiple data sources, up to six, to find the most accurate lake contours available.
I would not hang an inaccurate map in my house and I will not send one to yours.
