Lake Camelot and Lake Sherwood form a connected pair of popular all-sports lakes in the Town of Rome, Adams County, Wisconsin, covering a combined 661 acres along the Fourteen Mile Creek corridor. Lake Camelot is the larger of the two at 445 acres with 18 miles of sandy shoreline and a maximum depth of 24 feet, consisting of Upper and Lower Camelot connected by a 1.25-mile channel and fed by Fourteen Mile Creek from the east. Lake Sherwood sits just downstream at 216 acres with 7.8 miles of shoreline and a slightly deeper maximum of 27 feet, receiving its inflow from Lower Camelot through a gated dam. Both lakes hold Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and abundant Panfish, and are managed cooperatively by the Tri-Lakes Management District with active aquatic plant harvesting and water quality monitoring.

Located in Rome Township south of Wisconsin Rapids, Lake Camelot and Lake Sherwood anchor one of central Wisconsin's most vibrant and closely-knit lake communities. The difference between standard and HD maps is the number of layers. Standard maps have 1 land layer and 7 water layers. The HD lake maps have 1 land layer and 14 water layers. So twice the detail. The HD Maps are limited to Extra Large, XX Large, and Gigantic sizes only. On the smaller sizes the depth change of the wood is too extreme and you end up losing detail.

Are these actually 3D or just engraved?

These are true 3D layered maps.

Each water layer uses a light to dark blue gradient so depth changes are easy to see.

Everything is made in my shop in Minnesota.

Do you use real depth data?

Yes, as an angler and map nerd, accuracy matters to me. I use multiple data sources, up to six, to find the most accurate lake contours available.

I would not hang an inaccurate map in my house and I will not send one to yours.
